Yang Wu
Position: Researcher Scientist Interests: The exploration, synthesis, and crystal growth of solid state materials TEL: 010-62794280 Email: [email protected] Achivements: Mr. Yang Wu's research interests span a broad range of solid-state matters, with a primary focus on the energy storage and conversion materials. He has published more than 40 papers in high impact scientific journals including Nature Physics, Nature Communications, Nano Letters, and Advanced Materials etc., with >2100 citations as of Jan. 2018 (Google Scholar). His effort in exploring novel thermoelectric materials in the Zn-Sb-In ternary system has been selected as one of the recipients of Ludo-Frevel Scholarship by ICDD in 2010. Background: Mr. Yang Wu has received his B.S. in chemistry and M.S. in physics from Tsinghua University in 2002 and in 2005, respectively. After he graduated from Tsinghua University, he was admitted by Arizona State University in U.S. to study solid-state chemistry with Prof. Ulrich Haussermann and received his Ph. D. in 2011. He joined Tsinghua-Foxconn Nanotechnology Research Center led by Prof. Shoushan Fan at Tsinghua University as a postdoc in 2011 and then became a research scientist in 2015.
